What we collect

When you fill out a form, we receive what you type, such as:

• your name, email address, phone number and company;
• details about your project, budget and timeline;
• the answers you entered in a calculator or quiz, if you ask us to email you the results or a plan;
• the page or offer you sent the form from and how you found this site (for example, a search engine or an ad);
• the pages, blog posts and demos you viewed on this site before contacting us, and how many visits you've made.

We also use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used in aggregate. It uses cookies and similar technology; you can opt out with Google's browser add-on.

Pop-ups and offers

So we don't pester you, your browser's local storage remembers whether you've already seen, dismissed or answered one of our offers (like the free stack audit), and we stay quiet for a while after. That note stays on your device; clearing your browser data resets it.

Live demos

The demos on this site run in your browser. What you enter in a demo is stored only in your browser's local storage and is never sent to us, except text you submit to a demo's AI feature. That text is sent to our AI service to generate a response, is not saved with your identity, and is not used to train AI models. We keep a hashed, anonymous usage count to limit abuse.

Proposals, payments and the client portal

When you accept a proposal online, we keep a record of the acceptance: your typed name, initials and any drawn signature, the boxes you checked, the date and time, the version of the proposal and agreement you accepted, and the IP address and browser information your device sent. We keep it as evidence of the agreement.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your full card or bank account number goes to Stripe, not to us; we receive the payment status and a reference to the payment method. Client portal accounts hold your contact details, invoices, files and messages with our team. Emails you exchange with us are kept with your client or lead record.

How we use it

To reply to you, prepare proposals, deliver and bill for our services, keep records of agreements, and improve this website. We don't sell or rent your information. If you subscribe to our newsletter, you can unsubscribe from any email.

Who else sees it

Our website and back office run on Google Cloud (Firebase). Email is sent through Google Workspace or our mail provider. Payments are processed by Stripe. AI features use Anthropic's API, which does not train on business API data. These providers process data on our behalf only. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights, or as part of a sale or merger of our business.

Client data

Websites and back offices we build for clients run in cloud projects owned by those clients. Their customers' data belongs to them and is governed by their own policies and our agreement with them.
