What we built
A products-and-projects site with quote requests and contractor bid requests (with plan uploads), and a back office for estimates customers accept online, clients, projects, a team calendar and email that goes out from each employee's own mailbox.
General contractors get their own page with a bid request form that takes the glazing scope, bid due date, a link to plans, and the plan files themselves. Bids land in their own pipeline in the back office, apart from homeowner quote requests.
The office builds branded estimates in the admin panel and emails them. The customer can accept or decline straight from the email, and every send is logged on the record.
Each staff member connects their own work mailbox, so email goes out from their own address and shows up in their own Sent folder.
The back office tracks projects, daily field logs, time entries, change orders, material orders, and budget lines, and has an executive dashboard for money, deliveries, and job profitability. Crew members get a portal of their own for the jobs they work on.
The featured projects and the job site photo gallery are managed from a Website Content page in the admin panel. If nothing has been published yet, the site falls back to built-in content, so it is never empty.
What customers see, and what the team signs in to every morning. Forms on the site land straight in the back office.

Each job below is something a business like this usually rents software for. Here it all lives in one system they own, with one login and no per-seat bills.
Instead of paying for
Residential quote requests and a contractor bid-request form with plan uploads or plan links; the office gets an instant alert and the customer gets a branded confirmation
Instead of
Client list, quote-request and contractor bid pipelines, and email replies sent from each employee's own work mailbox, with every send logged to the record's history
Instead of
Line-item estimates with tax, terms and valid-until date, printed or emailed from the estimator's mailbox; the customer clicks Accept or Decline in the email and the status updates while the estimator and office are notified (a click to accept, not a legal e-signature)
Instead of
Project pipeline (lead to complete), phase gates (contract/NTP, field measure, shop drawings, submittal approval, release to fabrication, install, punch/closeout), tasks, change orders (added scope, credit, T&M ticket, backcharge), budget vs actual, material and glass orders with backorder and reorder tracking, daily logs, hours, project files, a calendar and a per-person My Week view
Instead of
Crew members sign in, see the projects and bids assigned to them, and submit daily logs (with delay causes such as GC not ready, weather, material late) and time entries by activity (field measure, fab shop, install, drive)
Instead of
The office publishes or unpublishes portfolio projects and gallery photos and edits captions without a developer
Instead of
Daily page views, top pages, button/call/form clicks, and traffic sources
Instead of
Products named are what businesses typically buy for each job (researched October 2026). We don't claim a dollar figure for anyone else's business: price out your own.
Price out your stackAI in this build
No AI ships in this build yet. Proposed next: Plan reading & estimate follow-ups. Each item below is labeled as a proposal, not a feature.
Plan reading for contractor bid requests
Proposed, not built yetThe old way
An estimator downloads the plan set a general contractor uploaded, pages through the drawings and specs to find every storefront, curtain wall, entrance door and hardware callout, and types the scope into an estimate by hand.
What we'd build
AI reads the uploaded plans and specs, pulls the glazing scope into a checklist with sheet references (openings, systems, glass types, door hardware) and drafts estimate line items. The estimator checks each item against the drawings, sets prices, and sends the estimate.
An honest proposal: this isn't in the build today. It's what we'd fit to this business next.
